Munich Christmas

A.K.A. Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Stop number two on the Welch-Winter-Euro-Extravaganza was Munich, Germany.
We loved it.
We left sunny 80 degree Tel Aviv weather, stopped in Florence for what felt like Fall, and then we were transported into a German Winter wonderland.
The cold was a little shocking at first, I'm not gonna lie.
But our family had been longing for some cold, wintry weather and authentic Christmas spirit.
We found all of it in Munich.

Now to let the pictures do the talking...

The pics below were taken through a giant kaleidoscope

Our gracious hosts, the Murphys, took us out for some authentic German brats and giant mugs of German beer.

Pat & Susan Murphy (OSC 2011)...these guys are awesome! We laughed and laughed and laughed.  It is such a great experience to spend time trading stories with other Olmsteders.

Hot Gluwein, snow, great beer, great friends, and the best Christmas markets made this a wonderful place to visit. Highly recommended...thanks again Murphys!

Shalom Y'all,
Stew & E
